The design and build quality of these templates really is a strong point of this plugin and it’s a really strong reason to buy it. If you like the way a particular page looks, you can slide in any page template and have it up and running in no time.

Fortunately, the information in the Support area is well-stocked, and the tutorials are clear and concise. Many tutorials provide helpful examples. While some plugins are still in development, there are lots of great features in OptimizePress. Many of these are still ‘Coming Soon’ even after so many years of development, but most of them are already available.

We haven’t spoken to the support team but it appears that there is a good deal of support available if you have any issues.

This dashboard looks very simple and that’s because it is simple. It’s also where you set up your plugins and where you can access all of your plugins. It’s clean and easy to use and should make managing OptimizePress much simpler than ever.

Lightning Builder is a new page builder that builds on the powerful Live Editor and takes it a step further. Lightning Builder allows you to build pages from scratch or you can use one of the many OptimizePress themes and tweak them.

The new quick access panel that runs across the top of the screen allows you to quickly access all of the features that you need, such as customizing your themes or adding in widgets to your pages. It makes creating pages much easier and should make them load faster too. Add an element to a page by selecting the option that appears at the top of the screen and placing it in the correct place on the page. Once that is done, click the button to add it to the page. Then save the changes.

New, easier way to create and distribute templates.

The new OptimizePress theme provides more options for designing pages and a new delivery system for those who want to have them delivered automatically to their sites. Previously, to use a specific template, you would have to download it from one of the developer’s servers. This greatly speeds up the process of downloading templates.

This is a small improvement but it’s very useful as you may only download one or two templates and then never use them again. We think that this is a good step because it shows that the developers are thinking long-term, not adding new features to make the product look better.

Pages will load quicker when you upgrade to OptimizePress 3.0. If you create a new page using the new plugin, you should see a big difference in the speed of your page.

We tried to make pages that compare two different OptimizePress themes and they both showed that OptimizePress 3.0 performed better.

We haven’t had the chance to test this scientifically, but it seems like the pages are loading quicker. We think the visitors to our site will appreciate the new features, which is great.

Pros

Some of the positive things about OptimizePress are that it has many different themes and it is easy to use.
Price – It is one of the cheapest WordPress sales pages builders that allows you to set up as many as 100+ different types of landing pages as you wish. There is no other product that comes close to OptimizePress in terms of features, quality of design or number of templates it comes with.
Free templates are excellent and there are many good ones too. Free templates are excellent and there are lots of them. They are also very good. Each design is worthy of a top tier website and works seamlessly.
Ease of use – If you’re comfortable with the WordPress CMS you should be able to get up and running in just a few minutes and publish your first page in a matter of hours. When you become familiar with how it works, the time it takes to go live on a site will shrink dramatically.
Plays nicely with many other WordPress plugins – Not just email or membership plugins, but lots of other plugins that many website owners use on their sites. I tested several SEO, Cache, Optimization, Translation, and CRON plugins and did not find a single problem. What this means is that not every plugin will work, but I haven’t found one that doesn’t work.
Page loading speeds for WordPress 3 were noticeably improved when using OptimizePress 3.0. This is noticeable even without using load testing tools, but is a significant benefit.

Cons

There are many things that are good, but there is always room for improvement. {It’s good to think that there are better products, and this one is no different.}
Even with the recent overhaul of OptimizePress 2.0, the design is looking a little tired. {Even if you use OptimizePress 2.0, the layout still looks very dated. I wonder if the developer will even try to change the design as it has looked pretty much the same for ages.}
It really is amazing how well OptimizePress is built, but there are many other WordPress products that do more for people than this one does. It always seems to be the most recent version of WordPress, but it doesn’t always feel like that.
Support seems to take a while to respond to customers, but some users have complained that the support is often slow. Some issues take a long time to be resolved and will take a long time to be acknowledged. The amount of support that you get from developers and general customers is limited. If something happens and the knowledgebase doesn’t help you, you may be stuck with a limited amount of options, which is awful if you’re working to a deadline.
Live Editor saves your files in a different format from what is used by most plugins, so some plugins may not be compatible with Live Editor. It means that if you remove the plugin, there is a chance that your website will no longer work if you remove the plugin. {If you know this in advance, it will not affect your site, but if you don’t know this, it could cause problems.}

We always look at price/value and the different tiers of pricing that you can get for your money. Then we look at whether or not the product is really good value.

Pricing is one of the main strengths of OptimizePress, and they have quite reasonable plans.

It is cheaper than many other plugins on the market, but it is more expensive than others. It offers some good value considering how many features it has, and it is reasonably priced.

There are three tiers for OptimizePress: core, publisher, and pro. Each tier in OptimizePress costs a bit more, but they all build on the other and increase in price. It’s a one-time fee that includes the ability to create unlimited pages and get a year of updates and support. Obviously, if you use the latest version of OptimizePress, the cost should go down per year.

Conclusions

Now to the question that will make you a million dollars, or ninety-nine dollars in total. What Should You Buy With OptimizePress?

I’m not going to tell you what to do, but if I wanted to quickly create landing pages that integrate easily into a membership site, collect and share email addresses easily and work on mobile devices, I would buy OptimizePress.

If I just wanted to create a simple membership site for my existing clients and I wasn’t confident in my funnel creation skills, I probably wouldn’t buy this plugin. There are plenty of other great options, such as memberpress and Restrict Content Pro.

Several of the functions in OptimizePress are specifically built around the needs of marketing professionals. Whether you are a marketer or a site owner who is just trying to improve your marketing, OptimizePress delivers.

If you aren’t going in that direction, I would go with another plugin.

I don’t think it is the newest or most powerful. It isn’t very user friendly either. Some of the usability issues are a little suspect, but if you pay just $99 for a whole year of premium support, I don’t think you’ll have any issues with the plugin. Anyone Use Optimizepress
