You can start a new page from scratch by dragging and dropping elements from the OptimizePress theme library or use one of the many WordPress themes that have been added. You can also take one of the many existing WordPress themes and adjust them within the page builder.

The new quick access panel that runs across the top of the screen allows you to quickly access all of the features that you need, such as customizing your themes or adding in widgets to your pages. This makes creating pages very straightforward and should help you to work more efficiently too. It’s possible that you only download one or two templates at first and then never do it again. We think that this is a good thing because it shows that the developers are looking at the bigger picture and not just adding more features to make the product look better.

We haven’t had the opportunity to measure this scientifically, but we do feel like pages load faster in OptimizePress 3.0. When a visitor checks out a page it looks and feels faster, and as this is what most people use to tell us how much faster it is, we should be happy.

Pros

Some of the positive things about OptimizePress are that it has many different themes and it is easy to use.
Price – It is one of the cheapest WordPress sales pages builders that allows you to set up as many as 100+ different types of landing pages as you wish. There is no other product that comes close to OptimizePress in terms of features, quality of design or number of templates it comes with.
Free templates are excellent and there are many good ones too. Also, the premium templates are very good. Each design looks good on any top tier website and works seamlessly.
If you know how to use WordPress, you can have your site up and running in minutes and publishing pages in as little as an hour. When you become familiar with how it works, the time it takes to go live on a site will shrink dramatically.
Plays nicely with many other WordPress plugins – Not just email or membership plugins, but lots of other plugins that many website owners use on their sites. I tested with some other SEO, Cache, Optimization, Translation, and CRON plugins and did not see a single issue. I’m not saying that every plugin will work, because it won’t, but I have yet to find any that did.
Page loading speeds for WordPress 3 were noticeably improved when using OptimizePress 3.0. This is noticeable even without using load testing tools, but is a significant benefit.

Cons

When things are good, there is always room for improvement. {It’s good to think that there are better products, and this one is no different.}
Even after a few updates to OptimizePress 2.0, the design is beginning to look dated. {Even if you use OptimizePress 2.0, the layout still looks very dated. I wonder if the developer will even try to change the design as it has looked pretty much the same for ages.}
People really like OptimizePress, but the competition seems to be catching up and perhaps even overtaking it. Because it works with the latest WordPress versions, it is always up to date, but it doesn’t always feel like that.
Support seems to take a while to respond to customers, but some users have complained that the support is often slow. Some issues take a long time to be resolved and will take a long time to be acknowledged. The amount of support that you get from developers and general customers is limited. If something happens and the knowledgebase doesn’t help you, you may be stuck with a limited amount of options, which is awful if you’re working to a deadline.
Live Editor saves files in a non-standard format, which can cause some plugins to not work properly. It also means that if you remove the plugin, you might lose some of your pages that you created with OptimizePress. {If you know this in advance, it will not affect your site, but if you don’t know this, it could cause problems.}

Price / Value is always important in our reviews, so we look into the different tiers of support that are available for OptimizePress and whether it offers good value for money.

Pricing is a real strength of OptimizePress and it works well for many people.

It is cheaper than many other plugins on the market, but it is more expensive than others. It offers some good value considering how many features it has, and it is reasonably priced.

There are four pricing options for OptimizePress: Core, Publisher, and Pro. There are three different pricing tiers for OptimizePress – Core, Publisher, and Pro. All three pricing tiers build on each other while increasing in price. It’s a one-time fee that lets you create unlimited pages and get unlimited support and updates. Now we come to the million-dollar question – or rather, it is a question worth ninety-nine dollars if you decide to buy OptimizePress. What Should You Buy With OptimizePress?

I’m not going to tell you what to do, but if I was a marketer who wanted to quickly create landing pages that would allow me to build a membership site, collect and share email addresses with my mail plugin and work on mobile, I would buy OptimizePress.

If I just wanted to create a simple membership site for my existing clients and I wasn’t confident in my funnel creation skills, I probably wouldn’t buy this plugin. There are plenty of other great options, such as memberpress and Restrict Content Pro.

OptimizePress is a very strong plugin that is designed to help marketers with their websites. Many of its features are specifically designed to help marketers succeed. Whether you are a marketer or a site owner who is just trying to improve your marketing, OptimizePress delivers.

If you aren’t moving in that direction, I would recommend looking elsewhere.
