It’s very easy to use, and it is very flexible. There are different styles that your clients require, depending on the type of business you are marketing.
It is possible to use the layouts and templates that are available in any page builder, including Elementor, Beaver Builder or WPMU DEV. The design and build quality of these templates really is a strong point of this plugin and it’s a really strong reason to buy it. If you have a good theme that fits your site design, you can easily add some templates to your site. It doesn’t matter if the design of the template you select isn’t compatible with your brand. Documentation
Support and documentation are very important for any product to be effective. Being able to provide great support and provide excellent documentation is vital. OptimizePress provides both. Fortunately, the information in the Support area is well-stocked, and the tutorials are clear and concise. Many tutorials provide helpful examples. While some plugins are still in development, there are lots of great features in OptimizePress. Many of these are still ‘Coming Soon’ even after so many years of development, but most of them are already available.
We haven’t spoken to the support team but it appears that there is a good deal of support available if you have any issues.
New dashboard for OptimizePress 3.0.
New to OptimizePress 3.0 is the ability to add custom widgets to the top of your pages.
In the Dashboard you will need to manage your sites and create new pages. This is the place where you can control how you configure OptimizePress 3.0, such as installing extensions, setting up email providers, adding scripts etc.
This dashboard looks very simple and that’s because it is simple. It’s also where you set up your plugins and where you can access all of your plugins. It’s very easy to use and the design is clean and minimalist. It should make managing OptimizePress more flexible than ever.
{Lightning is a powerful, incredibly powerful tool that allows you to quickly build beautiful web pages with the help of Lightning.}
Lightning Builder is also available in OptimizePress 3.0.
Lightning Builder is a new page builder that builds on the powerful Live Editor and takes it a step further. Lightning Builder allows you to build pages from scratch or you can use one of the many OptimizePress themes and tweak them.
There is a new Quick Access panel which can be accessed by clicking the top of any of the pages in your site. You can then easily access pages and other features such as content management, design tools and more. It makes creating pages much easier and should make them load faster too. Add an element to a page by selecting the option that appears at the top of the screen and placing it in the correct place on the page. Once that is done, click the button to add it to the page. Then save the changes.
New system for delivering templates automatically.
The new OptimizePress theme provides more options for designing pages and a new delivery system for those who want to have them delivered automatically to their sites. Previously, to use a specific template, you would have to download it from one of the developer’s servers. Now the template is hosted on AWS. {You could also now find them by searching through the latest posts, blogs or other websites and finding them on a service such as AWS.}Change Post Typography Optimizepress
This greatly speeds up the process of downloading templates.
It’s possible that you only download one or two templates at first and then never do it again. We think that this is a good step because it shows that the developers are thinking long-term, not adding new features to make the product look better.
{It takes a while for the pages to load but now they load very quickly.}
Pages will load quicker when you upgrade to OptimizePress 3.0. If you create a new page using the new plugin, you should see a big difference in the speed of your page.
We tried to make pages that compare two different OptimizePress themes and they both showed that OptimizePress 3.0 performed better.
We haven’t had the opportunity to measure this scientifically, but we do feel like pages load faster in OptimizePress 3.0. When a visitor checks out a page it looks and feels faster, and as this is what most people use to tell us how much faster it is, we should be happy.
{OptimizePress 3.0 has a lot more features than OptimizePress 2.0, but there are a lot more benefits.}
There are pros and cons to using OptimizePress, as with any other product. Pros and Cons of OptimizePress. There are lots of things that people like about it, but how compelling or distracting they are depends completely on what you are trying to achieve with it.Change Post Typography Optimizepress
Pros
- Among the many positive things that we found about OptimizePress are:
- It is extremely cheap compared to other similar products and you get so many features for so little money. There is no other product that comes close to OptimizePress in terms of features, quality of design or number of templates it comes with.
- Free templates are excellent and there are many good ones too. Also, the premium templates are very good. Each design is worthy of a top tier website and works seamlessly.
- If you know how to use WordPress, you can have your site up and running in minutes and publishing pages in as little as an hour. Once you understand how it all works, the time to go live on your site is reduced dramatically.
- Plays nicely with other plugins – Not just email or membership plugins, but many other plugins that many website owners use on their sites. I tested several SEO, Cache, Optimization, Translation, and CRON plugins and did not find a single problem. What this means is that not every plugin will work, but I haven’t found one that doesn’t work.
- Page speed of OptimizePress 3.0 – The new code base is faster to load on most devices. This is noticeable even without using special tools to measure page load speed. This is noticeable even without using load testing tools, but is a significant benefit.
Cons
- There are many things that are good, but there is always room for improvement. {It’s good to think that there are better products, and this one is no different.}
- Even after a few updates to OptimizePress 2.0, the design is beginning to look dated. {Even if you use OptimizePress 2.0, the layout still looks very dated. I wonder if the developer will even try to change the design as it has looked pretty much the same for ages.}
- People really like OptimizePress, but the competition seems to be catching up and perhaps even overtaking it. It always seems to be the most recent version of WordPress, but it doesn’t always feel like that.
- Support seems to take a while to respond to customers, but some users have complained that the support is often slow. Some issues take a long time to be resolved and will take a long time to be acknowledged. The amount of support that you get from developers and general customers is limited. If something happens and the knowledgebase doesn’t help you, you may be stuck with a limited amount of options, which is awful if you’re working to a deadline.
- Live Editor saves your files in a different format from what is used by most plugins, so some plugins may not be compatible with Live Editor. It also means that if you remove the plugin, you might lose some of your pages that you created with OptimizePress. {If you know this in advance, it will not affect your site, but if you don’t know this, it could cause problems.}
{OptimizePress Prices}
Price / Value is always important in our reviews, so we look into the different tiers of support that are available for OptimizePress and whether it offers good value for money.
Pricing is a real strength of OptimizePress and it works well for many people.
It costs less than many of its competitors and is more expensive than some other plugins. It is really good value for money for the amount of features it gives you.
There are three tiers for OptimizePress: core, publisher, and pro. Each tier in OptimizePress costs a bit more, but they all build on the other and increase in price. It’s a one-time fee that lets you create unlimited pages and get unlimited support and updates. It costs one time, but if you need to update it every year, the cost should be reduced per year.
What should you think about buying OptimizePress? Change Post Typography Optimizepress
Conclusions
Now we come to the million-dollar question – or rather, it is a question worth ninety-nine dollars if you decide to buy OptimizePress. What Should You Buy With OptimizePress?
I’m not going to tell you what to do, but if I wanted to quickly create landing pages that integrate easily into a membership site, collect and share email addresses easily and work on mobile devices, I would buy OptimizePress.
I’d probably not recommend buying this plugin if I was wanting to create a basic membership site or if I didn’t think it was necessary to use other plugins (like Memberpress or Restrict Content Pro).
Several of the functions in OptimizePress are specifically built around the needs of marketing professionals. Whether you are a marketer or a site owner who is just trying to improve your marketing, OptimizePress delivers.
If you aren’t moving in that direction, I would recommend looking elsewhere.
I don’t think it is the newest or most powerful. It isn’t very user friendly either. Some of the usability issues are a little suspect, but if you pay just $99 for a whole year of premium support, I don’t think you’ll have any issues with the plugin. Change Post Typography Optimizepress
