We haven’t had the opportunity to measure this scientifically, but we do feel like pages load faster in OptimizePress 3.0. When a visitor checks out a page it looks and feels faster, and as this is what most people use to tell us how much faster it is, we should be happy.

Pros

Some of the positive things about OptimizePress are that it has many different themes and it is easy to use.
Price – It is one of the cheapest WordPress sales pages builders that allows you to set up as many as 100+ different types of landing pages as you wish. There are no other products that can compete with OptimizePress in terms of features, quality of design or template selection.
Free templates are excellent, and there are lots of them. Also, the premium templates are very good. Each design is worthy of a top tier website and works seamlessly.
If you know how to use WordPress, you can have your site up and running in minutes and publishing pages in as little as an hour. Once you understand how it all works, the time to go live on your site is reduced dramatically.
Plays nicely with other plugins – Not just email or membership plugins, but many other plugins that many website owners use on their sites. I tested several SEO, Cache, Optimization, Translation, and CRON plugins and did not find a single problem. I’m not saying that every plugin will work, because it won’t, but I have yet to find any that did.
Page speed of OptimizePress 3.0 – The new code base is faster to load on most devices. This is noticeable even without using special tools to measure page load speed. It is clearly noticeable on many different devices and is a significant benefit.

Cons

There are many things that are good, but there is always room for improvement. {It’s good to think that there are better products, and this one is no different.}
Even with the recent overhaul of OptimizePress 2.0, the design is looking a little tired. {Even if you use OptimizePress 2.0, the layout still looks very dated. I wonder if the developer will even try to change the design as it has looked pretty much the same for ages.}
It really is amazing how well OptimizePress is built, but there are many other WordPress products that do more for people than this one does. Because it works with the latest WordPress versions, it is always up to date, but it doesn’t always feel like that.
Support seems to take a while to respond to customers, but some users have complained that the support is often slow. It can take a while for support to become aware of a fault with the plugin and fix it. Seems that both the support team and general customer service are limited. If something goes wrong and you don’t get any help from the support team, your options are limited, and that’s not good if you’re on a strict deadline.
Live Editor saves your files in a different format from what is used by most plugins, so some plugins may not be compatible with Live Editor. It means that if you remove the plugin, there is a chance that your website will no longer work if you remove the plugin. {If you know this in advance, it will not affect your site, but if you don’t know this, it could cause problems.}

Price / Value is always important in our reviews, so we look into the different tiers of support that are available for OptimizePress and whether it offers good value for money.

Pricing is one of the main strengths of OptimizePress, and they have quite reasonable plans.

It is cheaper than many other plugins on the market, but it is more expensive than others. It offers some good value considering how many features it has, and it is reasonably priced.

I’m not going to tell you what to do, but if I was a marketer who wanted to quickly create landing pages that would allow me to build a membership site, collect and share email addresses with my mail plugin and work on mobile, I would buy OptimizePress.

If I just wanted to create a simple membership site for my existing clients and I wasn’t confident in my funnel creation skills, I probably wouldn’t buy this plugin. There are plenty of other great options, such as memberpress and Restrict Content Pro.

OptimizePress is a very strong plugin that is designed to help marketers with their websites. Many of its features are specifically designed to help marketers succeed. Whether you are a marketer or a site owner who is just trying to improve your marketing, OptimizePress delivers.

If you aren’t moving in that direction, I would recommend looking elsewhere.
