This is a small improvement but it’s very useful as you may only download one or two templates and then never use them again. We think that this is a good step because it shows that the developers are thinking long-term, not adding new features to make the product look better.

We haven’t had the opportunity to measure this scientifically, but we do feel like pages load faster in OptimizePress 3.0. We think the visitors to our site will appreciate the new features, which is great.

  • Some of the positive things about OptimizePress are that it has many different themes and it is easy to use.
  • Price – It is one of the cheapest WordPress sales pages builders that allows you to set up as many as 100+ different types of landing pages as you wish. There are no other products that can compete with OptimizePress in terms of features, quality of design or template selection.
  • Free templates are excellent and there are many good ones too. Free templates are excellent and there are lots of them. They are also very good. Each design is worthy of a top tier website and works seamlessly.
  • If you know how to use WordPress, you can have your site up and running in minutes and publishing pages in as little as an hour. Once you understand how it all works, the time to go live on your site is reduced dramatically.
  • Plays nicely with other plugins – Not just email or membership plugins, but many other plugins that many website owners use on their sites. I tested several SEO, Cache, Optimization, Translation, and CRON plugins and did not find a single problem. What this means is that not every plugin will work, but I haven’t found one that doesn’t work.
  • Page loading speeds for WordPress 3 were noticeably improved when using OptimizePress 3.0. It is clearly noticeable on many different devices and is a significant benefit.

Cons

  • When things are good, there is always room for improvement. {It’s good to think that there are better products, and this one is no different.}
  • Even with the recent overhaul of OptimizePress 2.0, the design is looking a little tired. {Even if you use OptimizePress 2.0, the layout still looks very dated. I wonder if the developer will even try to change the design as it has looked pretty much the same for ages.}
  • It really is amazing how well OptimizePress is built, but there are many other WordPress products that do more for people than this one does. Because it works with the latest WordPress versions, it is always up to date, but it doesn’t always feel like that.
  • Support seems to be slow – I am lucky enough not to be able to access live support, but many others have commented that the support response time is very slow. It can take a while for support to become aware of a fault with the plugin and fix it. Seems that both the support team and general customer service are limited. If something goes wrong and you don’t get any help from the support team, your options are limited, and that’s not good if you’re on a strict deadline.
  • Live Editor saves your files in a different format from what is used by most plugins, so some plugins may not be compatible with Live Editor. It also means that if you remove the plugin, you might lose some of your pages that you created with OptimizePress. {If you know this in advance, it will not affect your site, but if you don’t know this, it could cause problems.}

It is cheaper than many other plugins on the market, but it is more expensive than others. It offers some good value considering how many features it has, and it is reasonably priced.

There are four pricing options for OptimizePress: Core, Publisher, and Pro. Each tier in OptimizePress costs a bit more, but they all build on the other and increase in price. It’s a one-time fee that includes the ability to create unlimited pages and get a year of updates and support. Now we come to the million-dollar question – or rather, it is a question worth ninety-nine dollars if you decide to buy OptimizePress. There are many reasons to buy OptimizePress. We will try to explain why we think it is worth the cost.

I’m not going to tell you what to do, but if I was a marketer who wanted to quickly create landing pages that would allow me to build a membership site, collect and share email addresses with my mail plugin and work on mobile, I would buy OptimizePress.

I’d probably not recommend buying this plugin if I was wanting to create a basic membership site or if I didn’t think it was necessary to use other plugins (like Memberpress or Restrict Content Pro).

Several of the functions in OptimizePress are specifically built around the needs of marketing professionals. Whether you are a marketer or a site owner who is just trying to improve your marketing, OptimizePress delivers.

If you aren’t moving in that direction, I would recommend looking elsewhere.
