{OptimizePress Template: 30 high-quality, affordable templates to help you create powerful, customised landing pages. Live Editor: Easy to use, and the ability to save and import your own pages.}

There are 60 templates included in OptimizePress and a further 280+ are available as part of a premium plan.

Because OptimizePress is all about creating pages that allow you to sell products quickly, many of the pages in this section are designed to help you do that.

It’s amazing how great these templates are, and it’s also one of its strengths. If you have a good theme that fits your site design, you can easily add some templates to your site. It doesn’t matter if the design of the template you select isn’t compatible with your brand. You can get your pages up and running quickly.

{Custom Element Builder – A feature that makes it easy to create pages that show all the different things that people can do to attract more customers.}

Custom elements are where you really start adding your own content.

There are over 40 different custom elements available in OptimizePress. Everything from buttons to opt-in boxes, image placeholders to audio players are included. You can add any custom element to your site.

{It has a very good support team and is fully responsive.}

Responsive design is something that should not be undervalued. It’s a core feature of OptimizePress.

Pages are created quickly and easily and work across all devices and screen sizes. Some of the templates work very well and are very attractive even when you view them on the smallest of devices.

Documentation

Support and documentation are very important for any product to be effective. Being able to provide great support and provide excellent documentation is vital. OptimizePress provides both. The Knowledgebase is very useful and the help files are well-written. Many of the instructions contain useful images to help you understand the features. While some plugins are still in development, there are lots of great features in OptimizePress. Many of these are still ‘Coming Soon’ even after so many years of development, but most of them are already available.

We haven’t spoken to the support team but it appears that there is a good deal of support available if you have any issues.

New dashboard for OptimizePress 3.0.

New to OptimizePress 3.0 is the ability to add custom widgets to the top of your pages.

There are new features that are really important to new users, such as the ability to quickly create new sites and create pages. This is the place where you can control how you configure OptimizePress 3.0, such as installing extensions, setting up email providers, adding scripts etc.

This dashboard looks very simple and that’s because it is simple. It’s a place where you can access all the features that OptimizePress has to offer and make sure that you are doing the right thing. It’s very easy to use and the design is clean and minimalist. It should make managing OptimizePress more flexible than ever.

{Lightning is a powerful, incredibly powerful tool that allows you to quickly build beautiful web pages with the help of Lightning.}

Lightning Builder is also available in OptimizePress 3.0.

Lightning Builder is a new page builder that builds on the powerful Live Editor and takes it a step further. You can start a new page from scratch by dragging and dropping elements from the OptimizePress theme library or use one of the many WordPress themes that have been added. You can also take one of the many existing WordPress themes and adjust them within the page builder.

There is a new Quick Access panel which can be accessed by clicking the top of any of the pages in your site. You can then easily access pages and other features such as content management, design tools and more. It makes creating pages much easier and should make them load faster too. Add an element to a page by selecting the option that appears at the top of the screen and placing it in the correct place on the page. Once that is done, click the button to add it to the page. Then save the changes.

New system for delivering templates automatically.

The new themes are easy to customize and deliver to your site via a new network of template providers. Previously you would have to download a template from the site developer. Now you can use templates stored in a cloud service. {You could also now find them by searching through the latest posts, blogs or other websites and finding them on a service such as AWS.}How To Work With Shortcodes To Align Elements In Optimizepress

This means that you no longer need to wait for a particular template to be downloaded, it actually speeds up the process considerably.

This is a small improvement but it’s very useful as you may only download one or two templates and then never use them again. We think that this is a good step because it shows that the developers are thinking long-term, not adding new features to make the product look better.

{It takes a while for the pages to load but now they load very quickly.}
Pages should load faster when you upgrade to OptimizePress 3.0. If you build a new page using the new page builder you should notice a big difference.

We tried to make pages that compare two different OptimizePress themes and they both showed that OptimizePress 3.0 performed better.

We haven’t had the chance to test this scientifically, but it seems like the pages are loading quicker. When a visitor checks out a page it looks and feels faster, and as this is what most people use to tell us how much faster it is, we should be happy.

{OptimizePress 3.0 has a lot more features than OptimizePress 2.0, but there are a lot more benefits.}

There are pros and cons to using OptimizePress, as there are with any product. How compelling or distracting the options are is completely dependent on what you want to achieve with them.How To Work With Shortcodes To Align Elements In Optimizepress

Pros

  • Among the many positive things that we found about OptimizePress are:
  • Price – It is one of the cheapest WordPress sales pages builders that allows you to set up as many as 100+ different types of landing pages as you wish. There is no other product that comes close to OptimizePress in terms of features, quality of design or number of templates it comes with.
  • Free templates are excellent, and there are lots of them. Free templates are excellent and there are lots of them. They are also very good. Each design is worthy of a top tier website and works seamlessly.
  • If you know how to use WordPress, you can have your site up and running in minutes and publishing pages in as little as an hour. Once you understand how it all works, the time to go live on your site is reduced dramatically.
  • Plays nicely with other plugins – Not just email or membership plugins, but many other plugins that many website owners use on their sites. I tested several SEO, Cache, Optimization, Translation, and CRON plugins and did not find a single problem. What this means is that not every plugin will work, but I haven’t found one that doesn’t work.
  • Page speed of OptimizePress 3.0 – The new code base is faster to load on most devices. This is noticeable even without using special tools to measure page load speed. This is noticeable even without using load testing tools, but is a significant benefit.

Cons

  • When things are good, there is always room for improvement. {It’s good to think that there are better products, and this one is no different.}
  • Even with the recent overhaul of OptimizePress 2.0, the design is looking a little tired. {Even if you use OptimizePress 2.0, the layout still looks very dated. I wonder if the developer will even try to change the design as it has looked pretty much the same for ages.}
  • People really like OptimizePress, but the competition seems to be catching up and perhaps even overtaking it. It always seems to be the most recent version of WordPress, but it doesn’t always feel like that.
  • Support seems to be slow – I am lucky enough not to be able to access live support, but many others have commented that the support response time is very slow. It can take a while for support to become aware of a fault with the plugin and fix it. Seems that both the support team and general customer service are limited. If something happens and the knowledgebase doesn’t help you, you may be stuck with a limited amount of options, which is awful if you’re working to a deadline.
  • Live Editor saves your files in a different format from what is used by most plugins, so some plugins may not be compatible with Live Editor. It means that if you remove the plugin, there is a chance that your website will no longer work if you remove the plugin. {If you know this in advance, it will not affect your site, but if you don’t know this, it could cause problems.}

Price / Value is always important in our reviews, so we look into the different tiers of support that are available for OptimizePress and whether it offers good value for money.

Pricing is a real strength of OptimizePress and it works well for many people.

It is cheaper than many other plugins on the market, but it is more expensive than others. It is really good value for money for the amount of features it gives you.

There are three tiers for OptimizePress: core, publisher, and pro. There are three different pricing tiers for OptimizePress – Core, Publisher, and Pro. All three pricing tiers build on each other while increasing in price. It’s a one-time fee that includes the ability to create unlimited pages and get a year of updates and support. Obviously, if you use the latest version of OptimizePress, the cost should go down per year.

OptimizePress is a great product and we really like it, but it is more expensive than other similar products. How To Work With Shortcodes To Align Elements In Optimizepress

Conclusions

Now we come to the million-dollar question – or rather, it is a question worth ninety-nine dollars if you decide to buy OptimizePress. There are many reasons to buy OptimizePress. We will try to explain why we think it is worth the cost.

I’m not going to tell you what to do, but if I wanted to quickly create landing pages that integrate easily into a membership site, collect and share email addresses easily and work on mobile devices, I would buy OptimizePress.

If I just wanted to create a simple membership site for my existing clients and I wasn’t confident in my funnel creation skills, I probably wouldn’t buy this plugin. There are plenty of other great options, such as memberpress and Restrict Content Pro.

Several of the functions in OptimizePress are specifically built around the needs of marketing professionals. If you want to be a better marketer or if you want to improve your marketing skills, OptimizePress can help you.

If you aren’t going in that direction, I would go with another plugin.

It isn’t the newest, it isn’t the most powerful and it doesn’t look very nice on the back end. Some of the usability issues are a little suspect, but if you pay just $99 for a whole year of premium support, I don’t think you’ll have any issues with the plugin.
