The design and build quality of these templates really is a strong point of this plugin and it’s a really strong reason to buy it. If you like the way a particular page looks, you can slide in any page template and have it up and running in no time.

Custom elements are where you really start adding your own content.

Having a fully responsive design for every page is important and is a core feature of OptimizePress.
Pages are created quickly and easily and work across all devices and screen sizes. Some of the templates work very well and are very attractive even when you view them on the smallest of devices.
Documentation
Support and knowledge of your product is vital. If you purchase a good product, that product should also provide you with excellent support. OptimizePress offers excellent support and great documentation. The Knowledgebase is very useful and the help files are well-written. Many of the instructions contain useful images to help you understand the features. There are a few options that will be available only in the next release, but the majority are here.
While we haven’t yet spoken with the support team, our research indicates that it isn’t unusual to have difficulties getting good support if you have any issues.
OptimizePress 3.0 now supports live editing from its dashboard.
New to OptimizePress 3.0 is the ability to add custom widgets to the top of your pages.
In the Dashboard you will need to manage your sites and create new pages. It lets you manage all the things that you can do with OptimizePress 3.0 like add custom pages, add email templates, install plugins and do a lot more.
This section looks simple, but it really isn’t that simple. It’s also where you set up your plugins and where you can access all of your plugins. It’s clean and easy to use and should make managing OptimizePress much simpler than ever.

Lightning Builder is also available in OptimizePress 3.0.
Lightning Builder is a new page builder that builds on the powerful Live Editor and takes it a step further. Lightning Builder allows you to build pages from scratch or you can use one of the many OptimizePress themes and tweak them.
There is a new Quick Access panel which can be accessed by clicking the top of any of the pages in your site. You can then easily access pages and other features such as content management, design tools and more. It makes creating pages much easier and should make them load faster too. You just need to select an element from the top menu, choose an optional theme and then place it on the page. From there, you can go to any page within the editor and add any text or image that you want to add.
New system for delivering templates automatically.
The new themes are easy to customize and deliver to your site via a new network of template providers. Previously, to use a specific template, you would have to download it from one of the developer’s servers. This greatly speeds up the process of downloading templates.
This is a small improvement but it’s very useful as you may only download one or two templates and then never use them again. We think that this is a good thing because it shows that the developers are looking at the bigger picture and not just adding more features to make the product look better.

Pages will load quicker when you upgrade to OptimizePress 3.0. If you create a new page using the new plugin, you should see a big difference in the speed of your page.
We tested building a page that looked exactly like one that we built in OptimizePress 2.0 and OptimizePress 3.0 performed better.
We haven’t had the opportunity to measure this scientifically, but we do feel like pages load faster in OptimizePress 3.0. We think the visitors to our site will appreciate the new features, which is great.

There are pros and cons to using OptimizePress, as there are with any product. Pros and Cons of OptimizePress. Pros
- Among the many positive things that we found about OptimizePress are:
- Price – It is one of the cheapest WordPress sales pages builders that allows you to set up as many as 100+ different types of landing pages as you wish. There is no other product that comes close to OptimizePress in terms of features, quality of design or number of templates it comes with.
- Free templates are excellent, and there are lots of them. Also, the premium templates are very good. Each design looks good on any top tier website and works seamlessly.
- Ease of use – If you’re comfortable with the WordPress CMS you should be able to get up and running in just a few minutes and publish your first page in a matter of hours. Once you understand how it all works, the time to go live on your site is reduced dramatically.
- Plays nicely with many other WordPress plugins – Not just email or membership plugins, but lots of other plugins that many website owners use on their sites. I tested with some other SEO, Cache, Optimization, Translation, and CRON plugins and did not see a single issue. What this means is that not every plugin will work, but I haven’t found one that doesn’t work.
- Page loading speeds for WordPress 3 were noticeably improved when using OptimizePress 3.0. It is clearly noticeable on many different devices and is a significant benefit.
Cons
- When things are good, there is always room for improvement. {It’s good to think that there are better products, and this one is no different.}
- Even with the recent overhaul of OptimizePress 2.0, the design is looking a little tired. {Even if you use OptimizePress 2.0, the layout still looks very dated. I wonder if the developer will even try to change the design as it has looked pretty much the same for ages.}
- People really like OptimizePress, but the competition seems to be catching up and perhaps even overtaking it. It always seems to be the most recent version of WordPress, but it doesn’t always feel like that.
- Support seems to take a while to respond to customers, but some users have complained that the support is often slow. Some issues take a long time to be resolved and will take a long time to be acknowledged. The amount of support that you get from developers and general customers is limited. If something goes wrong and you don’t get any help from the support team, your options are limited, and that’s not good if you’re on a strict deadline.
- Live Editor saves files in a non-standard format, which can cause some plugins to not work properly. It means that if you remove the plugin, there is a chance that your website will no longer work if you remove the plugin. {If you know this in advance, it will not affect your site, but if you don’t know this, it could cause problems.}
{OptimizePress Prices}
We always look at price/value and the different tiers of pricing that you can get for your money. Then we look at whether or not the product is really good value.
Pricing is a real strength of OptimizePress and it works well for many people.
It costs less than many of its competitors and is more expensive than some other plugins. It offers some good value considering how many features it has, and it is reasonably priced.
There are four pricing options for OptimizePress: Core, Publisher, and Pro. Each tier in OptimizePress costs a bit more, but they all build on the other and increase in price. It’s a one-time fee that lets you create unlimited pages and get unlimited support and updates. It costs one time, but if you need to update it every year, the cost should be reduced per year.

Conclusions
Now we come to the million-dollar question – or rather, it is a question worth ninety-nine dollars if you decide to buy OptimizePress. There are many reasons to buy OptimizePress. We will try to explain why we think it is worth the cost.
I’m not going to tell you what to do, but if I wanted to quickly create landing pages that integrate easily into a membership site, collect and share email addresses easily and work on mobile devices, I would buy OptimizePress.
If I just wanted to create a simple membership site for my existing clients and I wasn’t confident in my funnel creation skills, I probably wouldn’t buy this plugin. There are plenty of other great options, such as memberpress and Restrict Content Pro.
Several of the functions in OptimizePress are specifically built around the needs of marketing professionals. If you want to be a better marketer or if you want to improve your marketing skills, OptimizePress can help you.
If you aren’t moving in that direction, I would recommend looking elsewhere.
