There are 60 templates included in OptimizePress and a further 280+ are available as part of a premium plan.

Because OptimizePress is all about creating pages that allow you to sell products quickly, many of the pages in this section are designed to help you do that.

It’s amazing how great these templates are, and it’s also one of its strengths. If you have a good theme that fits your site design, you can easily add some templates to your site. It doesn’t matter if the design of the template you select isn’t compatible with your brand. You can get your pages up and running quickly.

{Custom Element Builder – A feature that makes it easy to create pages that show all the different things that people can do to attract more customers.}

Custom elements are where you really start adding your own content.

There are over 40 different custom elements available in OptimizePress. Everything from buttons to opt-in boxes, image placeholders to audio players are included. There are 40+ different widgets that you can use to add almost any element to a page.

{It has a very good support team and is fully responsive.}

Having a fully responsive design for every page is important and is a core feature of OptimizePress.

Pages are created quickly and easily and work across all devices and screen sizes. The included templates work well and are fully responsive, so they look great even when viewed on a tiny screen.

Documentation

Support and documentation are very important for any product to be effective. OptimizePress offers excellent support and great documentation. The Knowledgebase is very useful and the help files are well-written. Many of the instructions contain useful images to help you understand the features. There are a few options that will be available only in the next release, but the majority are here.

We haven’t spoken to the support team but it appears that there is a good deal of support available if you have any issues.

OptimizePress 3.0 now supports live editing from its dashboard.

New to OptimizePress 3.0 is the ability to add custom widgets to the top of your pages.

In the Dashboard you will need to manage your sites and create new pages. This is the place where you can control how you configure OptimizePress 3.0, such as installing extensions, setting up email providers, adding scripts etc.

This dashboard looks very simple and that’s because it is simple. It’s also where you set up your plugins and where you can access all of your plugins. It’s clean and easy to use and should make managing OptimizePress much simpler than ever.

{Lightning is a powerful, incredibly powerful tool that allows you to quickly build beautiful web pages with the help of Lightning.}

Lightning Builder is also available in OptimizePress 3.0.

Lightning Builder is a new way to create beautiful, visually appealing pages with less effort. It builds on what Live Editor did and takes it a step further. You can start a new page from scratch by dragging and dropping elements from the OptimizePress theme library or use one of the many WordPress themes that have been added. You can also take one of the many existing WordPress themes and adjust them within the page builder.

The new quick access panel that runs across the top of the screen allows you to quickly access all of the features that you need, such as customizing your themes or adding in widgets to your pages. This makes creating pages very straightforward and should help you to work more efficiently too. You just need to select an element from the top menu, choose an optional theme and then place it on the page. From there, you can go to any page within the editor and add any text or image that you want to add.

New system for delivering templates automatically.

The new themes are easy to customize and deliver to your site via a new network of template providers. Previously, to use a specific template, you would have to download it from one of the developer’s servers. Now the template is hosted on AWS. {You could also now find them by searching through the latest posts, blogs or other websites and finding them on a service such as AWS.}Optimizepress Page Width

This means that you no longer need to wait for a particular template to be downloaded, it actually speeds up the process considerably.

It’s possible that you only download one or two templates at first and then never do it again. We think that this is a good step because it shows that the developers are thinking long-term, not adding new features to make the product look better.

{It takes a while for the pages to load but now they load very quickly.}
Pages will load quicker when you upgrade to OptimizePress 3.0. If you create a new page using the new plugin, you should see a big difference in the speed of your page.

We tried to make pages that compare two different OptimizePress themes and they both showed that OptimizePress 3.0 performed better.

We haven’t had the chance to test this scientifically, but it seems like the pages are loading quicker. When a visitor checks out a page it looks and feels faster, and as this is what most people use to tell us how much faster it is, we should be happy.

{OptimizePress 3.0 has a lot more features than OptimizePress 2.0, but there are a lot more benefits.}

There are pros and cons to using OptimizePress, as with any other product. Pros and Cons of OptimizePress. There are lots of things that people like about it, but how compelling or distracting they are depends completely on what you are trying to achieve with it.Optimizepress Page Width

Pros

  • Some of the positive things about OptimizePress are that it has many different themes and it is easy to use.
  • It is extremely cheap compared to other similar products and you get so many features for so little money. There is no other product that comes close to OptimizePress in terms of features, quality of design or number of templates it comes with.
  • Free templates are excellent, and there are lots of them. Also, the premium templates are very good. Each design is worthy of a top tier website and works seamlessly.
  • If you know how to use WordPress, you can have your site up and running in minutes and publishing pages in as little as an hour. Once you understand how it all works, the time to go live on your site is reduced dramatically.
  • Plays nicely with other plugins – Not just email or membership plugins, but many other plugins that many website owners use on their sites. I tested with some other SEO, Cache, Optimization, Translation, and CRON plugins and did not see a single issue. What this means is that not every plugin will work, but I haven’t found one that doesn’t work.
  • Page speed of OptimizePress 3.0 – The new code base is faster to load on most devices. This is noticeable even without using special tools to measure page load speed. This is noticeable even without using load testing tools, but is a significant benefit.

Cons

  • When things are good, there is always room for improvement. {It’s good to think that there are better products, and this one is no different.}
  • Even with the recent overhaul of OptimizePress 2.0, the design is looking a little tired. {Even if you use OptimizePress 2.0, the layout still looks very dated. I wonder if the developer will even try to change the design as it has looked pretty much the same for ages.}
  • It really is amazing how well OptimizePress is built, but there are many other WordPress products that do more for people than this one does. Because it works with the latest WordPress versions, it is always up to date, but it doesn’t always feel like that.
  • Support seems to be slow – I am lucky enough not to be able to access live support, but many others have commented that the support response time is very slow. Some issues take a long time to be resolved and will take a long time to be acknowledged. The amount of support that you get from developers and general customers is limited. If something goes wrong and you don’t get any help from the support team, your options are limited, and that’s not good if you’re on a strict deadline.
  • Live Editor saves files in a non-standard format, which can cause some plugins to not work properly. It also means that if you remove the plugin, you might lose some of your pages that you created with OptimizePress. {If you know this in advance, it will not affect your site, but if you don’t know this, it could cause problems.}

{OptimizePress Prices}

Optimizepress Page Width

Price / Value is always important in our reviews, so we look into the different tiers of support that are available for OptimizePress and whether it offers good value for money.

Pricing is one of the main strengths of OptimizePress, and they have quite reasonable plans.

It is cheaper than many other plugins on the market, but it is more expensive than others. It is really good value for money for the amount of features it gives you.

There are three tiers for OptimizePress: core, publisher, and pro. There are three different pricing tiers for OptimizePress – Core, Publisher, and Pro. All three pricing tiers build on each other while increasing in price. It’s a one-time fee that includes the ability to create unlimited pages and get a year of updates and support. Obviously, if you use the latest version of OptimizePress, the cost should go down per year.

What should you think about buying OptimizePress? Optimizepress Page Width

Conclusions

Now we come to the million-dollar question – or rather, it is a question worth ninety-nine dollars if you decide to buy OptimizePress. What Should You Buy With OptimizePress?

I’m not going to tell you what to do, but if I was a marketer who wanted to quickly create landing pages that would allow me to build a membership site, collect and share email addresses with my mail plugin and work on mobile, I would buy OptimizePress.

I’d probably not recommend buying this plugin if I was wanting to create a basic membership site or if I didn’t think it was necessary to use other plugins (like Memberpress or Restrict Content Pro).

Several of the functions in OptimizePress are specifically built around the needs of marketing professionals. Whether you are a marketer or a site owner who is just trying to improve your marketing, OptimizePress delivers.

If you aren’t going in that direction, I would go with another plugin.

I don’t think it is the newest or most powerful. It isn’t very user friendly either. It may have some usability issues, but overall it is a very good product. You only pay $99 for a year of support and updates. Optimizepress Page Width
