It’s very easy to use and the design is clean and minimalist. It should make managing OptimizePress more flexible than ever.

We haven’t had the opportunity to measure this scientifically, but we do feel like pages load faster in OptimizePress 3.0. When a visitor checks out a page it looks and feels faster, and as this is what most people use to tell us how much faster it is, we should be happy.

Some of the positive things about OptimizePress are that it has many different themes and it is easy to use.
It is extremely cheap compared to other similar products and you get so many features for so little money. There are no other products that can compete with OptimizePress in terms of features, quality of design or template selection.

Plays nicely with many other WordPress plugins – Not just email or membership plugins, but lots of other plugins that many website owners use on their sites. I tested several SEO, Cache, Optimization, Translation, and CRON plugins and did not find a single problem. I’m not saying that every plugin will work, because it won’t, but I have yet to find any that did.
Page speed of OptimizePress 3.0 – The new code base is faster to load on most devices. This is noticeable even without using special tools to measure page load speed. This is noticeable even without using load testing tools, but is a significant benefit.

Cons

When things are good, there is always room for improvement. {It’s good to think that there are better products, and this one is no different.}
Even after a few updates to OptimizePress 2.0, the design is beginning to look dated. {Even if you use OptimizePress 2.0, the layout still looks very dated. I wonder if the developer will even try to change the design as it has looked pretty much the same for ages.}
People really like OptimizePress, but the competition seems to be catching up and perhaps even overtaking it. It always seems to be the most recent version of WordPress, but it doesn’t always feel like that.
Support seems to take a while to respond to customers, but some users have complained that the support is often slow. It can take a while for support to become aware of a fault with the plugin and fix it. Seems that both the support team and general customer service are limited. If something happens and the knowledgebase doesn’t help you, you may be stuck with a limited amount of options, which is awful if you’re working to a deadline.
Live Editor saves files in a non-standard format, which can cause some plugins to not work properly. It means that if you remove the plugin, there is a chance that your website will no longer work if you remove the plugin. {If you know this in advance, it will not affect your site, but if you don’t know this, it could cause problems.}

I’m not going to tell you what to do, but if I was a marketer who wanted to quickly create landing pages that would allow me to build a membership site, collect and share email addresses with my mail plugin and work on mobile, I would buy OptimizePress.

If I just wanted to create a simple membership site for my existing clients and I wasn’t confident in my funnel creation skills, I probably wouldn’t buy this plugin. There are plenty of other great options, such as memberpress and Restrict Content Pro.

OptimizePress is a very strong plugin that is designed to help marketers with their websites. Many of its features are specifically designed to help marketers succeed. Whether you are a marketer or a site owner who is just trying to improve your marketing, OptimizePress delivers.

If you aren’t going in that direction, I would go with another plugin.
