OptimizePress offers excellent support and great documentation. The Knowledgebase is very useful and the help files are well-written. Many of the instructions contain useful images to help you understand the features. There are a few options that will be available only in the next release, but the majority are here.
We haven’t spoken to the support team but it appears that there is a good deal of support available if you have any issues.
New dashboard for OptimizePress 3.0.
New to OptimizePress 3.0 is the ability to add custom widgets to the top of your pages.
In the Dashboard you will need to manage your sites and create new pages. This is the place where you can control how you configure OptimizePress 3.0, such as installing extensions, setting up email providers, adding scripts etc.
This section looks simple, but it really isn’t that simple. It’s also where you set up your plugins and where you can access all of your plugins. It’s very easy to use and the design is clean and minimalist. It should make managing OptimizePress more flexible than ever.
{Lightning is a powerful, incredibly powerful tool that allows you to quickly build beautiful web pages with the help of Lightning.}
Lightning Builder is a new feature that allows you to create beautiful, interactive pages. It allows you to build a dynamic webpage in just a few clicks and add dynamic elements to it.
Lightning Builder is a new way to create beautiful, visually appealing pages with less effort. It builds on what Live Editor did and takes it a step further. Lightning Builder allows you to build pages from scratch or you can use one of the many OptimizePress themes and tweak them.
The new quick access panel that runs across the top of the screen allows you to quickly access all of the features that you need, such as customizing your themes or adding in widgets to your pages. This makes creating pages very straightforward and should help you to work more efficiently too. Add an element to a page by selecting the option that appears at the top of the screen and placing it in the correct place on the page. Once that is done, click the button to add it to the page. Then save the changes.
New system for delivering templates automatically.
The new themes are easy to customize and deliver to your site via a new network of template providers. Previously you would have to download a template from the site developer. Now you can use templates stored in a cloud service. {You could also now find them by searching through the latest posts, blogs or other websites and finding them on a service such as AWS.}Optimizepress Theme Tutorial
This means that you no longer need to wait for a particular template to be downloaded, it actually speeds up the process considerably.
It’s possible that you only download one or two templates at first and then never do it again. We think that this is a good step because it shows that the developers are thinking long-term, not adding new features to make the product look better.
{It takes a while for the pages to load but now they load very quickly.}
Pages should load faster when you upgrade to OptimizePress 3.0. If you build a new page using the new page builder you should notice a big difference.
We tried to make pages that compare two different OptimizePress themes and they both showed that OptimizePress 3.0 performed better.
We haven’t had the chance to test this scientifically, but it seems like the pages are loading quicker. We think the visitors to our site will appreciate the new features, which is great.
{OptimizePress 3.0 has a lot more features than OptimizePress 2.0, but there are a lot more benefits.}
There are pros and cons to using OptimizePress, as with any other product. Pros and Cons of OptimizePress. There are lots of things that people like about it, but how compelling or distracting they are depends completely on what you are trying to achieve with it.Optimizepress Theme Tutorial
Pros
- Among the many positive things that we found about OptimizePress are:
- It is extremely cheap compared to other similar products and you get so many features for so little money. There is no other product that comes close to OptimizePress in terms of features, quality of design or number of templates it comes with.
- Free templates are excellent and there are many good ones too. Also, the premium templates are very good. Each design looks good on any top tier website and works seamlessly.
- Ease of use – If you’re comfortable with the WordPress CMS you should be able to get up and running in just a few minutes and publish your first page in a matter of hours. When you become familiar with how it works, the time it takes to go live on a site will shrink dramatically.
- Plays nicely with many other WordPress plugins – Not just email or membership plugins, but lots of other plugins that many website owners use on their sites. I tested several SEO, Cache, Optimization, Translation, and CRON plugins and did not find a single problem. What this means is that not every plugin will work, but I haven’t found one that doesn’t work.
- Page loading speeds for WordPress 3 were noticeably improved when using OptimizePress 3.0. It is clearly noticeable on many different devices and is a significant benefit.
Cons
- When things are good, there is always room for improvement. {It’s good to think that there are better products, and this one is no different.}
- Even after a few updates to OptimizePress 2.0, the design is beginning to look dated. {Even if you use OptimizePress 2.0, the layout still looks very dated. I wonder if the developer will even try to change the design as it has looked pretty much the same for ages.}
- It really is amazing how well OptimizePress is built, but there are many other WordPress products that do more for people than this one does. Because it works with the latest WordPress versions, it is always up to date, but it doesn’t always feel like that.
- Support seems to be slow – I am lucky enough not to be able to access live support, but many others have commented that the support response time is very slow. It can take a while for support to become aware of a fault with the plugin and fix it. Seems that both the support team and general customer service are limited. If something goes wrong and you don’t get any help from the support team, your options are limited, and that’s not good if you’re on a strict deadline.
- Live Editor saves your files in a different format from what is used by most plugins, so some plugins may not be compatible with Live Editor. It means that if you remove the plugin, there is a chance that your website will no longer work if you remove the plugin. {If you know this in advance, it will not affect your site, but if you don’t know this, it could cause problems.}
{OptimizePress Prices}
Price / Value is always important in our reviews, so we look into the different tiers of support that are available for OptimizePress and whether it offers good value for money.
Pricing is one of the main strengths of OptimizePress, and they have quite reasonable plans.
It costs less than many of its competitors and is more expensive than some other plugins. It offers some good value considering how many features it has, and it is reasonably priced.
There are three tiers for OptimizePress: core, publisher, and pro. Each tier in OptimizePress costs a bit more, but they all build on the other and increase in price. It’s a one-time fee that includes the ability to create unlimited pages and get a year of updates and support. Obviously, if you use the latest version of OptimizePress, the cost should go down per year.
OptimizePress is a great product and we really like it, but it is more expensive than other similar products. Optimizepress Theme Tutorial
Conclusions
Now to the question that will make you a million dollars, or ninety-nine dollars in total. There are many reasons to buy OptimizePress. We will try to explain why we think it is worth the cost.
I’m not going to tell you what to do, but if I was a marketer who wanted to quickly create landing pages that would allow me to build a membership site, collect and share email addresses with my mail plugin and work on mobile, I would buy OptimizePress.
I’d probably not recommend buying this plugin if I was wanting to create a basic membership site or if I didn’t think it was necessary to use other plugins (like Memberpress or Restrict Content Pro).
Several of the functions in OptimizePress are specifically built around the needs of marketing professionals. If you want to be a better marketer or if you want to improve your marketing skills, OptimizePress can help you.
If you aren’t moving in that direction, I would recommend looking elsewhere.
I don’t think it is the newest or most powerful. It isn’t very user friendly either. Some of the usability issues are a little suspect, but if you pay just $99 for a whole year of premium support, I don’t think you’ll have any issues with the plugin. Optimizepress Theme Tutorial
