Some of the templates use the Live Editor, which enables you to easily build sales pages quickly. There are lots of landing pages that are optimized for people to lead and get sales.

It’s amazing how great these templates are, and it’s also one of its strengths. If you like the way a particular page looks, you can slide in any page template and have it up and running in no time.

{Custom Element Builder – A feature that makes it easy to create pages that show all the different things that people can do to attract more customers.}

Custom elements are where you really start adding your own content.

{It has a very good support team and is fully responsive.}

Having a fully responsive design for every page is important and is a core feature of OptimizePress.

Pages load quickly and seamlessly across all devices and screen sizes. Some of the templates work very well and are very attractive even when you view them on the smallest of devices.

Documentation

Support and knowledge of your product is vital. If you purchase a good product, that product should also provide you with excellent support. Being able to provide great support and provide excellent documentation is vital. OptimizePress provides both. The Knowledgebase is very useful and the help files are well-written. Many of the instructions contain useful images to help you understand the features. There are a few options that will be available only in the next release, but the majority are here.

We haven’t spoken to the support team but it appears that there is a good deal of support available if you have any issues.

New dashboard for OptimizePress 3.0.

New to OptimizePress 3.0 is the ability to add custom widgets to the top of your pages.

In the Dashboard you will need to manage your sites and create new pages. This is the place where you can control how you configure OptimizePress 3.0, such as installing extensions, setting up email providers, adding scripts etc.

This dashboard looks very simple and that’s because it is simple. It’s also where you set up your plugins and where you can access all of your plugins. It’s clean and easy to use and should make managing OptimizePress much simpler than ever.

{Lightning is a powerful, incredibly powerful tool that allows you to quickly build beautiful web pages with the help of Lightning.}

Lightning Builder is also available in OptimizePress 3.0.

Lightning Builder is a new way to create beautiful, visually appealing pages with less effort. It builds on what Live Editor did and takes it a step further. You can start a new page from scratch by dragging and dropping elements from the OptimizePress theme library or use one of the many WordPress themes that have been added. You can also take one of the many existing WordPress themes and adjust them within the page builder.

The new quick access panel that runs across the top of the screen allows you to quickly access all of the features that you need, such as customizing your themes or adding in widgets to your pages. It makes creating pages much easier and should make them load faster too. You just need to select an element from the top menu, choose an optional theme and then place it on the page. From there, you can go to any page within the editor and add any text or image that you want to add.

New, easier way to create and distribute templates.

The new OptimizePress theme provides more options for designing pages and a new delivery system for those who want to have them delivered automatically to their sites. Previously you would have to download a template from the site developer. Now you can use templates stored in a cloud service. {You could also now find them by searching through the latest posts, blogs or other websites and finding them on a service such as AWS.}Optimizepress With Genesis

This greatly speeds up the process of downloading templates.

It’s possible that you only download one or two templates at first and then never do it again. We think that this is a good thing because it shows that the developers are looking at the bigger picture and not just adding more features to make the product look better.

{It takes a while for the pages to load but now they load very quickly.}
Pages should load faster when you upgrade to OptimizePress 3.0. If you build a new page using the new page builder you should notice a big difference.

We tested building a page that looked exactly like one that we built in OptimizePress 2.0 and OptimizePress 3.0 performed better.

We haven’t had the chance to test this scientifically, but it seems like the pages are loading quicker. We think the visitors to our site will appreciate the new features, which is great.

{OptimizePress 3.0 has a lot more features than OptimizePress 2.0, but there are a lot more benefits.}

There are pros and cons to using OptimizePress, as there are with any product. Pros and Cons of OptimizePress. There are lots of things that people like about it, but how compelling or distracting they are depends completely on what you are trying to achieve with it.Optimizepress With Genesis

Pros

  • Among the many positive things that we found about OptimizePress are:
  • Price – It is one of the cheapest WordPress sales pages builders that allows you to set up as many as 100+ different types of landing pages as you wish. There is no other product that comes close to OptimizePress in terms of features, quality of design or number of templates it comes with.
  • Free templates are excellent, and there are lots of them. Also, the premium templates are very good. Each design looks good on any top tier website and works seamlessly.
  • Ease of use – If you’re comfortable with the WordPress CMS you should be able to get up and running in just a few minutes and publish your first page in a matter of hours. When you become familiar with how it works, the time it takes to go live on a site will shrink dramatically.
  • Plays nicely with many other WordPress plugins – Not just email or membership plugins, but lots of other plugins that many website owners use on their sites. I tested several SEO, Cache, Optimization, Translation, and CRON plugins and did not find a single problem. What this means is that not every plugin will work, but I haven’t found one that doesn’t work.
  • Page speed of OptimizePress 3.0 – The new code base is faster to load on most devices. This is noticeable even without using special tools to measure page load speed. It is clearly noticeable on many different devices and is a significant benefit.

Cons

  • There are many things that are good, but there is always room for improvement. {It’s good to think that there are better products, and this one is no different.}
  • Even with the recent overhaul of OptimizePress 2.0, the design is looking a little tired. {Even if you use OptimizePress 2.0, the layout still looks very dated. I wonder if the developer will even try to change the design as it has looked pretty much the same for ages.}
  • It really is amazing how well OptimizePress is built, but there are many other WordPress products that do more for people than this one does. It always seems to be the most recent version of WordPress, but it doesn’t always feel like that.
  • Support seems to take a while to respond to customers, but some users have complained that the support is often slow. It can take a while for support to become aware of a fault with the plugin and fix it. Seems that both the support team and general customer service are limited. If something happens and the knowledgebase doesn’t help you, you may be stuck with a limited amount of options, which is awful if you’re working to a deadline.
  • Live Editor saves your files in a different format from what is used by most plugins, so some plugins may not be compatible with Live Editor. It means that if you remove the plugin, there is a chance that your website will no longer work if you remove the plugin. {If you know this in advance, it will not affect your site, but if you don’t know this, it could cause problems.}

{OptimizePress Prices}

Optimizepress With Genesis

Price / Value is always important in our reviews, so we look into the different tiers of support that are available for OptimizePress and whether it offers good value for money.

Pricing is a real strength of OptimizePress and it works well for many people.

It costs less than many of its competitors and is more expensive than some other plugins. It offers some good value considering how many features it has, and it is reasonably priced.

There are three tiers for OptimizePress: core, publisher, and pro. Each tier in OptimizePress costs a bit more, but they all build on the other and increase in price. It’s a one-time fee that lets you create unlimited pages and get unlimited support and updates. Obviously, if you use the latest version of OptimizePress, the cost should go down per year.

OptimizePress is a great product and we really like it, but it is more expensive than other similar products. Optimizepress With Genesis

Conclusions

Now we come to the million-dollar question – or rather, it is a question worth ninety-nine dollars if you decide to buy OptimizePress. There are many reasons to buy OptimizePress. We will try to explain why we think it is worth the cost.

I’m not going to tell you what to do, but if I wanted to quickly create landing pages that integrate easily into a membership site, collect and share email addresses easily and work on mobile devices, I would buy OptimizePress.

I’d probably not recommend buying this plugin if I was wanting to create a basic membership site or if I didn’t think it was necessary to use other plugins (like Memberpress or Restrict Content Pro).

OptimizePress is a very strong plugin that is designed to help marketers with their websites. Many of its features are specifically designed to help marketers succeed. Whether you are a marketer or a site owner who is just trying to improve your marketing, OptimizePress delivers.

If you aren’t moving in that direction, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

It isn’t the newest, it isn’t the most powerful and it doesn’t look very nice on the back end. Some of the usability issues are a little suspect, but if you pay just $99 for a whole year of premium support, I don’t think you’ll have any issues with the plugin. Optimizepress With Genesis
